Packhorse Shopping Centre Huddersfield Exhibition: West Yorkshire Wedding Photographer

So all of my followers, friends and family may know that the preview day for the Packhorse Shopping Centre UNITY Exhibition was held on the 23rd, and it went splendidly!

All 6 of us photographers/ Batley School of Art Degree students put our hearts and souls into the exhibition (where 4 of us it was going to be our LAST EVER University exhibition).

Photographers Sara Green BIPP Student Winner 2017, Dallas Weeks BIPP Student Winner 2018, (Me) Gabrielle Steberis, Nicola Williams, Elizabeth Oldfield and Peter Moseley proudly presented our works.

The Packhorse Centre was thrilled to have us there, and very impressed with the quality and standards of our work, and I overheard them say 'Its art work filling the walls instead of wallpaper, I LOVE it!'

I found that the day before the opening of the preview day, passers by were already trying to get into the exhibition to have a look, because of coarse it's great to art work in the community for once!

Even though it was difficult to say the least to get everything set up, to arrange times for everyone to meet, plan, and sort the exhibition out, we pulled it off!

The shopping centres of West Yorkshire Huddersfield are definitely in need of more displayed art work, for people to be able to stop what they're doing for just a moment; put their busy lives on pause for a minute, forget about the hustle and bustle of the day, and just really enjoy reflecting on beautiful art work.

The reception that we got at the preview day was great! We met with potential clients and built contacts. We had people interested in purchasing prints, and we were even asked deep and meaningful questions about our photography, and it was amazing that we were able to be there to answer those in person.

With the success of exhibiting in the Packhorse Shopping Centre Huddersfield, we have decided to extend our stay there until the 2nd July 2018, and are even putting on 2 Pop Up Studio Days on both Friday and Saturday, where members of the public can enter the exhibition, check out the art work, and get their portraits taken by one of the members of the UNITY team!

I hope that many of my beloved followers and clients are interesting in attending to not just attend the pop up studio days, but even just to have a look and get a feel of what our photography work is really about!
